Live Philly’s Books of the Month

Our team is here to give you our books of the month because we basically think you’ll get an idea of the kind of people we are. Check back frequently for some inspiration. We’ll keep updating this page with more book reads, insights, discussions and maybe some giveaways.

September Reads

@kyletheresa‘s picks

Can we say horror and snarky all in one? Sure! If you want to read along with Kyle next month then add to cart and join the discussion in our little community:

  • Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia- From the author of Gods of Jade and Shadow comes “a terrifying twist on classic gothic horror” (Kirkus Reviews) set in glamorous 1950s Mexico. Let’s just say we heard this book gets “seriously weird.”
  • We Are Never Meeting In Real Life by Samantha Irby- From blogger of “bitches gotta eat,” Samantha brings a collection of funny (at times hilarious) and poignant essays. We heard this book will make you laugh out loud literally.

August Reads

@kyletheresa picks

  • Startup Communities by Brad Feld
  • The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead by Max Brooks
